Happy Halloween! We Made It! (And What Comes Next!)

Oh my gosh, we did it!!!
Chameleon Moon: The Audiobook is 167% FUNDED! Stretch goal (bonus audio story) MET!!
Holy crap - I'm laid low. Shocked and joyous, rapturous and aflutter, and so, so grateful!
You've all helped me make a dream a reality! I've always wanted to turn my work into audiobooks, and this would absolutely not be happening without you - and my incredible narrator/creation partner Kyle Rocco East!
We can't wait to start the work for real!
And now, you're probably wondering...
What happens next:
- Kickstarter should collect your pledges! (And let you know if there's a problem with your payment, etc.) They will likely need an address and maybe a phone number, especially if you're ordering physical goods.
- There's a 2-week processing period as it does this, works through everything, and only then sends the money to me.
- In the next few days-a week, I will send out your backer surveys - very important, but not super huge, basically just for you to tell me which character card or paperback book you'd like, since those are pretty much the only options given in this project.
- I'll probably be using a service called BackerKit, so keep an eye out for that/don't delete the email if you see that name, it's not spam!
- After I get your surveys back, I'll start sending out rewards! This will range from immediately (like most of the digital bonuses which are already in your backers-only folder, right now!), to a day or two from survey receipt (ebooks and such), to a couple weeks/a month (the character art cards, should the postal service cooperate!), to sometime in the coming months (the songs, hardcovers, and audiobook itself).
An important note here - I picked March of 2023 as the audiobook delivery estimate, and I'm thinking that'll carry over to the hardcover production as well. Two of the three still need to be designed (which I'm not worried about at all lol, they'll be awesome), and Ingram has been quite slow in shipping me the proof copy of Life Within Parole, Volumes 1 + 2. It's not in my hands as of yet, but rest assured, the second it is, there will be pictures and probably very excited video.
These are Uncertain Times (tm) for everything, including book production and shipping, and while I don't know the exact schedule to come, I can promise that as soon as I know anything, you'll be informed! So keep an eye out for future updates here!

Wow, we are in the home stretch here!
Just two days to go! I'm eyeing that Halloween Night hard, since the spookiest night of the year also marks the end of my very first Kickstarter, which thanks to all of you has been a graveyard smash-ing success! (And it's not even done! That stretch goal - I can taste it!)
Seriously, going into this I had so many worries and unknowns - and I'm still learning as I go, but I'm feeling so much more encouraged and excited rather than scared. I know I can handle this, and whatever comes after... which will probably include more Kickstarters for other projects in the future!
...But first, we have to finish this one! There's more awesome to come!
On that note, yes there will definitely be updates after the campaign's close, mostly about those cool special edition hardcovers, the progress in their creation, and the new, exclusive designs for Books 1 and 2! As well as the original songs, and of course, progress on the audiobook itself!
It'll be an ongoing process, but by the time we're done, it's going to rock even harder than previously estimated. :D I can't wait.

Wooahh, we're halfway there!
And this project is still growing much faster than I expected (hit 75 freaking backers last night! Incredible, you all rock!), and over $4,000, which is amazing - and also means that we are rocketing toward the first stretch goal of $5,000. And it's only halfway through the month/campaign!
And on top of all that - it's spooky season.
This whole project is pretty Halloweeny already - especially the $5000 stretch goal of an audio version of "Un-Dead," the very ghostly bonus short story! BUT, I think we can do even better!
So, as a bonus TO the bonus...
When (!) we hit $5,000, EVERYONE will get all 3 ebooks of my other vampire-flavored series, STAKE SAUCE!
