Chameleon Moon: The Audiobook

Hardcovers are a go!! And audio is closer every day!

Hey everyone, awesome news today! The updated design hardcover proofs have arrived, and they look perfect! Look at the matching spine text, all neat and symmetrical and whatnot!

So I am very, very happy about how that came out!

But Wait, There's More! Last time I forgot to share the inside covers, with the character portraits under the jackets. Check these beauties out! 

(Yes, one more of Zilch to demonstrate the full glorious thickness of these babies. I could not be happier with how they turned out!)

So, next big project will be finally sending all of these out to everyone who ordered one! Which is a lot more people than who got LWP Vols 1+2, so many more of you should have beautiful books in your near future!

In other news, as we speak, Kyle and I are listening to the SO CLOSE-TO-DONE, COMPLETED AUDIOBOOK, making final adjustments and reviews. Same with the Final Final versions of both songs, both of which will be released with actual album art when they're done as well. 

We're so close, and it feels so real, more every day. I cannot wait until I get to share it all with you!!

Hi everyone! Finally, I have some news of movement on the CHAMELEON MOON and THE LIFELINE SIGNAL hardcover front! I received both proofs from the printer today, and they both look and feel AMAZING. Like 95% perfect (for reasons I'll get into below), but first! Look at these beautiful things!

Look how the updated + expanded cover art flows gorgeously over both sides, and cool flaps! Exactly how I envisioned, Laya and Lyssa absolutely killed it, as usual <3

They're so thick and lovely and colors are vibrant and the matte finish is soft and velvety to touch, and all the interior graphics and fancy pages came out perfectly! 

They also look incredible with the first (produced) hardcover, LIFE WITHIN PAROLE VOLS. 1+2. So much color and life! 

My only (ONLY!!!) hesitation in shipping them out to you immediately, is that when looking at them all together, the spine text doesn't quite match up from book to book, each other or with LWP VOLS. 1+ 2 - which wasn't at all noticeable to me until I literally lined them up physically and compared them all directly. (And that IS on me for not noticing until now, nobody else's fault!)

Ordinarily I'd say that's not a big deal, but seeing how this is probably how you'd put them on a shelf... 

Like.... Agghh, they're individually so gorgeous, but I do feel like the spines should all match up as much as possible, so... there will likely be another round of proofs, which will take AT LEAST 2-3 more weeks on my end, going by the previous printing + shipping speed. And assuming the updated proofs are correct the first time (at least these came with jackets this time! And arrived at all!!)

So, yes, this is all to keep you informed of our progress, let you know that yes, these (glorious) physical books ARE getting made and THEY ARE incredible - just at a slightly later timeframe than I'd hoped. 

THANK YOU all so much for your patience and understanding here! I appreciate it so much. Y'all probably know this is my first Kickstarter and hardcover production time ever, and you've been so amazingly supportive! Bear with me a little more through the growing pains, and I promise I WILL make it all happen. <3

Hi everyone! We are so close to the finish line I can taste it, and I am getting more excited by the day. 

Kyle and I have made lots of progress both in recording the audiobook (which is like 95% ready for sound engineering!), and Laya and Lyssa have rocked the hell out of designing the hardcovers! It's all looking and sounding insanely cool, and having this gorgeous collaborative creation out in the world is going to be so, so good.

Both hardcover editions are still in processing, which means I've submitted all files and they've been approved by the printing service, but I still am not able to order physical proofs just yet. The second I can, I will, and there will be pics as soon as they're approved by me! In the meantime, here's the full art for both of them, both complete jackets and under-jacket hardcovers!

I hope you're all as excited as I am - and thank you so much for your patience in this last home stretch. There are a ton of moving parts going on here, and while some are taking a bit longer than anticipated, it IS still essentially on track, and I just can't wait until it's in your ears/eyes/hands!
