Y'all, I have Such News, I'm almost incoherent right now!!

The 2023 Indie Ink Awards are afoot, and CHAMELEON MOON is nominated - for several categories!

Including BEST AUDIOBOOK, which YOU MADE HAPPEN! (And can vote to help us win!)

I'm truly over the moon and just! Laid low! ;A; I've never won or even been nominated for anything before, ever, so! This is so much for an indie creator like me!

So, I would be BEYOND honored if you'd consider voting for Chameleon Moon, especially for BEST AUDIO NARRATION!

"WTFWN" stands for "Writing The Future We Need," and refers to different kinds of marginalized characters in the story, or its author (I'm all of the above categories too, so it's important to me to write about others who are!). I'm so happy that readers thought CHAMELEON MOON did everyone justice. <3

The important categories are shown in the graphic above, but MOST important of all is BEST AUDIO NARRATION!  I can't express how much incredible narrator Kyle Rocco East deserves it, or how proud I am of how this audiobook has turned out - all thanks to you!

You helped make this audiobook happen, and I think we have a great chance of helping it win a freaking award - and that's just doubly something to be proud of.

Yes. Yes. The day is finally here. I both can and can't believe it, and I'm so excited I'm going to vibrate into another dimension.

Chameleon Moon: The Audiobook is finally done (or close enough to it barring any last minute polishes), and ready to share with you! 

 I like Halloween for a wide release date! But until then...

Grab it for your ears! Right here!

You may have to make a BookFunnel account, because that is how you'll probably listen to it, with their free app OR right in your browser, which should work on any device! Please let me know if it doesn't work for you!!

In the coming days I'll probably send you a few more notifs/emails just to make sure everyone has gotten the thing. I want everyone to hear what they helped bring into the world!

I am probably forgetting more awesome people, but believe me, I mean you too.

All hardcovers ordered! (And audiobook progress)

Hey everybody, just a quick note today to announce that...

ALL special edition hardcovers have been submitted and ordered!

So if you ordered a gorgeous physical copy of the Kickstarter-Exclusive CHAMELEON MOON, THE LIFELINE SIGNAL, or LIFE WITHIN PAROLE, you should get an email in the next few days saying that your book has been printed and shipped!

If you never get one of these after like a week (and it's not in your spam or something), PLEASE let me know, so I can correct whatever went wrong!

In other news, we are making excellent progress with the audiobook itself!! It should be ACTUALLY DONE in the next couple of weeks! 

Thank you all so much for your patience here - the slight delays have either been 1) unavoidable due to health or website nonsense, or 2) because we figured out something that would be really cool, and it took time to implement. MOST have been the second one!!!

Hey everyone, awesome news today! The updated design hardcover proofs have arrived, and they look perfect! Look at the matching spine text, all neat and symmetrical and whatnot!

So I am very, very happy about how that came out!

But Wait, There's More! Last time I forgot to share the inside covers, with the character portraits under the jackets. Check these beauties out! 

(Yes, one more of Zilch to demonstrate the full glorious thickness of these babies. I could not be happier with how they turned out!)

So, next big project will be finally sending all of these out to everyone who ordered one! Which is a lot more people than who got LWP Vols 1+2, so many more of you should have beautiful books in your near future!

In other news, as we speak, Kyle and I are listening to the SO CLOSE-TO-DONE, COMPLETED AUDIOBOOK, making final adjustments and reviews. Same with the Final Final versions of both songs, both of which will be released with actual album art when they're done as well. 

We're so close, and it feels so real, more every day. I cannot wait until I get to share it all with you!!
